Wilton Goose

An original oil painting on canvas covered board. 25.4cm x 30.5cm

Wilton Goose was painted as a tribute to the glory of the wildlife we so often take for granted, and inspired by the Wilton Diptych (created for Richard II [c. 1335-1399] and now housed in the National Gallery in London).

This beautiful greylag goose was photographed in Oxford.

One of a series of 4, each depicting a British bird.
